About Us
As a newly established nonprofit organization, Safe Space FMG is pioneering a compassionate and holistic approach to preventing child abuse. Rather than focusing solely on intervention after harm has occurred, we prioritize early education, community awareness, and survivor-centered support systems. Our mission is to reshape how society understands, responds to, and prevents abuse—creating environments where children are protected, families are informed, and survivors are empowered to heal.

Counseling Service
Trauma-Informed Therapy
Our trauma-informed therapy is designed specifically for individuals who have experienced abuse or violence, especially during childhood. This therapeutic approach emphasizes safety, trustworthiness, and empowerment. Therapists are trained to recognize the signs of trauma and respond with compassion, ensuring clients feel supported—not re-traumatized—throughout their healing journey.
Online Counseling
Safe Space FMG provides accessible online counseling sessions for those unable to attend in-person therapy. Through secure video platforms, survivors and families can connect with licensed counselors from the comfort and privacy of their homes. This service is especially helpful for individuals in remote areas or those who face mobility or transportation challenges.
Child and Family Therapy
Our child and family therapy programs aim to restore healthy communication, rebuild trust, and support emotional healing within the family unit. Licensed child therapists use play therapy, talk therapy, and other child-friendly methods to help young survivors express their feelings safely. Family therapy sessions promote understanding, strengthen relationships, and provide tools for creating safer home environments.
Affordable Mental Health Care
We believe financial limitations should never be a barrier to mental health support. Safe Space FMG offers affordable counseling on a sliding scale based on income. We also collaborate with community partners and grant programs to provide free or low-cost sessions, ensuring every survivor and family has access to the care they deserve.
